TEE TIME POLICY:
Public can reserve tee times 22 days in advance. Members can reserve tee times 29 days in advance. Individual Tee Times can be made for a maximum of 4 players. More Players will require additional tee times. Due to insurance liability and safety, kids under the age of 5 are not permitted on the golf course.  Supervised children may use practice areas with an adult.

DAILY DEALS POLICY:
When booking through the daily deals button (orange button on top right of page), you are booking a non-refundable, non-cancellable tee time through a partner of Black Bear Golf Club. Their booking policies are found on the check-out screen during booking. Please review when completing your order.

CHECK IN POLICY:
All golfers must be checked in with the Pro Shop a Minimum of 10 minutes prior to their scheduled Tee Time or risk losing their tee time.

In order to keep the 1st tee on time, and everyone’s tee times as scheduled, if you are within 10 minutes of your scheduled tee time, you will not be sold any range balls as you are expected to be at the first tee (15 minutes if on back range tee).

Players are expected to be at the 1st tee at least 5 minutes prior to their start time to check in with starter. Please plan on arriving early enough to give yourself ample time to warm up.

  All Golfers must arrive at the First Tee at least 5 minutes prior to their tee time or risk losing their scheduled time.

All Cancellations and Changes must be made at least 12 hours in advance of your tee time. A credit card will be required to secure the tee time (customer may choose to pay cash at the Pro Shop desk or process the payment on their credit card at the time of check in).

CANCELLATION POLICY:
At least 12 hours notice must be given to change or cancel your tee time reservation. Any changes or cancellations must be made directly with the pro shop either in person or by telephone by calling (352) 357-4732 option #1 for the pro shop. If the change or cancellation is not made within this time frame, the credit card holder is responsible for all applicable charges and will automatically be billed the full price for all players booked under this reservation. If you have any questions regarding your reservation, please call the pro shop at the number listed above.

MEDIA POLICY:
By booking a tee time you hereby grant and authorize Black Bear Golf Club the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of any and all pictures or video taken of you to be used in and/or for any lawful promotional materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, annual reports, press kits and submissions to journalists, websites, social networking sites and other print and digital communications, without payment or any other consideration.

RAIN POLICY:
If the golf course Superintendent deems the course unplayable, then an 18 hole rain check will be given to those playing 18 holes but have not completed 9 holes. A 9 hole rain check will be given to those playing 18 holes and have completed more than 9 but less than 18 holes.

DRESS CODE:
Proper golf attire is required. Collared shirts preferred. NO tank tops or cut-offs. We are a soft spike facility.

CLUB RENTALS:
Brand Name club rentals are available. Limited sets available. Please make arrangements for rentals prior to your arrival to ensure availability.

STANDARD CART USAGE:
All Greens fees include the use of a shared cart. Excessive cart usage over the last year and a half and created extra wear and tear of the golf course & golf carts. For this reason two players per cart will be required. *Additional fees apply for extra carts/spectator carts

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:
Alcohol that was not purchased at Black Bear Golf Club is not allowed to be brought onto the course property. We offer a wide range of beverages for sale in our restaurant and on the beverage cart that can be purchased to bring out on the course during play. Those who are found on the golf course property with alcoholic beverages not purchased here will be asked to leave with no refunds provided.
