Black Bear Golf Club, opened in 1995, features some of the most unique holes in Central Florida. The course is a P. B. Dye designed Championship 18 hole links style par 72 golf course. The Black Bear layout extends well over 7,000 yards and features undulating greens, dramatic fairway elevation changes and over 100 natural sand bunkers set in pristine Central Florida surroundings.
P.B. Dye designed the Black Bear course with multiple tee positions to be both a true challenge to the discerning golfer as well as an enjoyable experience for the recreational player. Without the typical Florida defenses of water or narrow fairways lined with townhomes right on top of you, this golf course is player friendly yet still challenging enough for seasoned pros. The greens surrounds complexes will allow the simple putt, bump and run or the high lofted soft shots if you “Dare”.
Black Bear Golf Club has, in its 30 year history, been host to 7 US Amateur Public links events, Canadian Tour events, several Hooters Tour events and East Coast/ NXXT Women’s Tour events in recent years.

Black Bear Golf Club features a full service public restaurant that is open everyday and always open to the public. Join us for all your menu favorites.
The Bears Den Restaurant is open everyday with Winter 2026 hours.
Currently our kitchen hours are as follows:
- Monday – Thursday 10:00-8:30pm
(Dinner specials available on Tuesdays from 5-8:30pm) - Friday 10:00-9:00pm
- Saturday 7:30am – 9pm
(lunch service begins at 10:30am) - Sunday 7:30am – 8:00pm
(lunch service begins at 10:30am) - Breakfast is offered on Saturday and Sunday starting at 7:30am-10:30am
